Thursday, 15 June 2023 Ready for a Texas Scramble?
At the VARO Golf Event, enthusiasts can play a game of Texas Scramble. For this, you step out onto the golf course in teams of at least 3 players. All team members tee off and then choose the ball with the best position. The other balls are collected and placed within one club-length of this ball. This process repeats itself after each new stroke until all the holes are played. The winning team will head home with the coveted VARO Cup.

For beginner golfers
Golf clinic or Masterclass
No golf experience at all, no golf card, or no handicap of 54 or below? No problem! There is a golf clinic especially for beginners. If you have played golf before, the masterclass is probably more for you. In addition to networking, food and drink, everyone can also actively enjoy the game of golf.
Alternative programme
E-chopper tour
This year we also have an alternative programme for those who don’t want to play golf, but would still like to join us for the entire afternoon. After receiving brief safety instructions, you will be raring to go. You will take the E-chopper on a scenic route around the golf course and the Rhoonse Grienden. A route where there is plenty to see and experience along the way!
